Newcomers  Alumnae

What is Newcomers Alumnae?

Newcomers Alumnae is a women’s social organization that began in 1998. A group of about 20 friends wished to stay in touch and enjoy some recreational pastimes on a regular basis. Today that group has grown to over 200 ladies from Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville, Nocatee, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and St. Augustine. The club is for ladies with an interest in frequent gatherings to enjoy fellowship.

Mission Statement

The motto of Newcomers Alumnae is: “We extend our hands in friendship”. We wish to provide women with an opportunity to continue growing in our community and to foster friendship through social activities. We welcome new members throughout the year.

Monthly Luncheons

Newcomers Alumnae holds our monthly luncheon meetings the first Wednesday of every month (except July and August) at the Marsh Landing Country Club. Our luncheon meeting begins with meeting and greeting at 11:00 AM. This is followed at 11:30 AM by a scheduled speaker. They are drawn from many fields, including finance, medicine, authors, the arts, science, law enforcement, culinary pursuits, gardening, and other areas of current interest to our membership. We welcome speaker suggestions from our membership.
